Broadcasting

2005-1 - Determinations with respect to the establishment of rules to govern the distribution of specialty services on the basic service of fully digital cable undertakings; and call for proposals for a framework to guide the migration of pay and specialty services from analog to a digital distribution environment. Any such reply should be filed with the Commission, and a copy sent to the person who submitted the comments, by no later than 19 April 2005.

2005-23 - Call for comments on a proposal to add Bridges TV to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis. Comments must be received by the CRTC and Câble VDN on or before 20 April 2005. Câble VDN may file a written reply to any comments received concerning the ir request. 2005-37 - Call for comments on a request from South Asian Television Canada Limited to add Sony Entertainment Television Asia to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis, and on the removal of The Scandinavian Channel Comments on both SATV Limited's request to add SET Asia to the digital lists and the proposal to remove The Scandinavian Channel from the digital lists must be received by the Commission no later than 24 May 2005. SATV Limited may file a written reply to any comments received concerning its request. 2005-81-1 - Viewing and expenditure incentives for English-language Canadian television drama - Extension of the deadline for receipt of comments. The Canadian Association of Broadcasters has requested that the Commission extend, by two weeks, the deadline for the receipt of comments in this proceeding. The Commission is satisfied that the request is reasonable. Accordingly, the Commission will now accept comments that it receives on or before 25 October 2005.

2005-122 - Call for comments on a complaint requesting that WMNB-TV: Russian-American Broadcasting Company be deleted from the lists of eligible services. The Commission invites comments on ECGL's complaint and on what actions would be appropriate should the Commission find that there is merit to ECGL's complaint. The Commission will accept comments that it receives on or before 8 February 2006. Interested parties may file written responses to any comments filed with the Commission. Comments on the CCTA's request must be received by the Commission no later than 16 January 2006. The CCTA may file a written reply to any comments received concerning its request. This reply should be filed with the Commission, and a copy sent to the person who submitted the comments, by no later than 30 January 2006.

2005-124-1 - Call for comments on the proposed addition of nine non-Canadian Chinese-language services to the lists of eligible satellite services for distribution on a digital basis – Re-opening of proceeding to permit the filing of evidence. Parties wishing to file evidence with regard to concerns such as those noted in the requests for further process must do so by 3 May 2006. Rogers may file a written reply and/or rebuttal to any further submissions received. Reply or rebuttal should be filed with the Commission, and a copy sent to the person making the submission, by no later than 17 May 2006.
