  Application by Aboriginal Voices Radio Inc. (AVR) for an extension of the time limit to commence the operation of the new Type B Native FM radio programming undertaking to serve the Ottawa-Gatineau area, authorized in Decision CRTC 2001-627, 4 October 2001.
  The applicant is requesting an extension until 14 April 2005 to commence the operation of the station. AVR has not yet concluded a lease agreement for the new transmission facility.
  The current application represents the fifth request for an extension of time.
  The Commission approved the first request for an extension of time from 4 October 2002 to 4 July 2003 in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-312, dated 16 October 2002; the second request for an extension of time to 4 November 2003 was approved in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-424, dated 27 August 2003; the third extension to 4 April 2004 was approved in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2003-567, dated 14 November 2003 and the fourth extension to 14 October 2004 was approved in Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2004-264, dated 9 July 2004.

  Application by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC)to amend the broadcasting licence of its radio programming undertaking CBK-FM Regina, Saskatchewan.
  The licensee proposes to add an FM transmitter at Swift Current to broadcast the programming of CBK-FM Radio Two in order to serve the population of Swift Current.
  This transmitter would operate on frequency 95.7 MHz (channel 239B1) with an effective radiated power of 4,710 watts (non-directional antenna/antenna height of 160.5 metres).
  The above-noted transmitter is presently licensed to C.O.R.B. Swift Current & District Inc. as a radiocommunication distribution undertaking (RDU). This licence expires 31 August 2005. This transmitter currently rebroadcasts the programming of CBK-FM Regina.
  C.O.R.B. Swift Current & District Inc. is no longer able to operate this radiocommunication distribution undertaking and the CBC has agreed to take over the undertaking in order to maintain its Radio Two service in Swift Current.
  Should this application be approved, C.O.R.B. Swift Current & District Inc. has indicated that it wishes to have its RDU licence revoked.
