New Users

If this is your first submission to the Commission, an activation code is required before you submit your form online. To request an activation code, call the CRTC Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 7:00am to 5:00pm, Eastern Time.

  • For Broadcasting, Canadian Program Certification, Telecom, CISC and Online streaming services:
    • 1-866-893-0932
    • TTY (toll free) 1-877-909-2782
  • For Data Collection System (DCS) user:
    • Send an email to cd-dc@crtc.gc.ca with “Request for activation code” in the subject line. Send the email from the email you used to sign-up for your MyCRTC Account and include your full name.
  • For new registrations of Telecommunication services providers:
    • You do not need an activation code to submit your application via the Telecom Cover Page.
