Description: In a letter dated 3 July 2012, Commission staff accepted TELUS’ request for an extension to file comments in this proceeding (the V-Connect proceeding) 7 days after Northwestel files its reply comments in the Wholesale Connect Tariff proceeding1, that is until 20 July 2012. TELUS is in receipt of Northwestel’s reply comments dated 13 July 2012 in the Wholesale Connect Tariff Proceeding. Description:
Northwestel respectfully files the following application requesting a Review and Vary of
Telecom Decision CRTC 2012-4 and hereby requests that the Commission issue a Stay
of the language in paragraph 20 of the Decision that directs Northwestel to file tariffs for
retail V-Connect service as well as an associated costing study within 30 days. The
Company submits that this application for a Stay should be considered in conjunction
with the Company’s concurrent filing of a proposed wholesale ISP Internet Transport
service tariff for SSI Micro to provide SSI immediately with the transport connectivity it
seeks between Yellowknife and Edmonton. As noted in that filing, the Company
proposes that the wholesale tariff be established on an interim basis pending final
determination.
