  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for analog and digital mobile coverage changes.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for whether you operate a mobile satellite service.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for GSM coverage changes.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for HSPA+ coverage changes.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for whether you operate a 4G or LTE mobile network.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for whether you operate an LTE-A mobile network.
  • An answer (“yes” or “no”) is provided for whether you operate a 5G network.
  • For each question (above) where you answered “yes”, a coverage map of Canada is provided.
  • Any HSPA+ coverage map is a subset of the total mobile coverage.
  • Any 4G or LTE map is a subset of your total mobile coverage.
  • Maps are submitted in the preferred formats of MapInfo (6.5 and above) or ArcGIS.

  • Only coverage within Canada is provided.
  • Maps avoid self-intersections within shapes.
  • Polygons, lines and points are each provided in their own respective layer.
  • Coverage maps are not cropped near shorelines.
  • Only coverage for you own network is included.
  • LTE Advanced (LTE-A) network map are submitted separately (if applicable).
  • 5G network maps are submitted separately (if applicable).
  • The names of the Canadian companies, for which you had provided mobile network services, are provided in Part C.
  • An answer (“reseller” or “MVNO” or “other”) is provided in Part C.
  • A copy of your submission has been saved in your records for future reference. DCS does not provide access to previous submissions after the collection period has closed.
