Subject: ACTION REQUIRED – Reporting obligations under the Accessible Canada Act and the CRTC Accessibility Reporting Regulations
Dear service provider:
According to our records, you have accessibility reporting obligations under the Accessible Canada Act (ACA) and the CRTC Accessibility Reporting Regulations (the Regulations).
An ACA accessibility reporting document is to be published every year by 1 June. You must notify the CRTC that you have published the document on your website. Which document you are required to publish this year depends on where you are in the reporting cycle:
- Year 1: initial accessibility plan (including the feedback process description)
- Year 2: first progress report
- Year 3: second progress report
- Year 4: updated accessibility plan
If you believe that you have received this letter in error or if your situation has changed, please contact us at engagement@crtc.gc.ca so that we can update our records.
More information about the ACA and the Regulations is available on our website.
Contact us at engagement@crtc.gc.ca if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Nanao Kachi
Director, Social and Consumer Policy
