Network Planning: Task Identification Forms

Network Interconnection Group

NPTF001.DOC - 65024 bytes - The Commission, in its PN97-8 decision, directs ILECs to unbundle CLEC-to-CLEC, CLEC-to-WSP, CLEC-to- IXC carrier transiting function. The Commission also directs the Industry to develop recommendations regarding Transiting arrangements. Transiting includes both traffic transiting and CCS7 signalling transiting

NPTF001A.DOC - 65024 bytes - The Commission, in its PN97-8 decision, directs ILECs to unbundle CLEC-to-CLEC, CLEC-to-WSP, CLEC-to- IXC carrier transiting function. The Commission also directs the Industry to develop recommendations regarding Transiting arrangements. Transiting includes both traffic transiting and CCS7 signalling transiting.

NPTF002A.DOC - 101913 bytes - In order to enable interconnection between LECs, Point Of Interconnections in each LEC's network must be established. The purpose of this task is to identify the criteria required for the establishment of POI as well as when those criteria must apply.

NPTF002B.DOC - 106755 bytes - In order to enable interconnection between LECs, Point Of Interconnections in each LEC's network must be established. The purpose of this task is to identify the criteria required for the establishment of POI as well as when those criteria must apply. POIs are required for interconnection at various levels: 1. per exchange for network interconnection 2. CCS7 POIs (known as SPOIs) 2.1 Per NPA where service is provided 2.2 Per alternate arrangement for network efficiencies.

NPTF003E.DOC - 27724 bytes - In Decision 97-8, the Commission directed CLECs to transit all 800/888 calls originating in their serving areas through the ILEC for determination of the appropriate 800/888 service provider, until alternative arrangements are in place, since only the ILEC has access to the Carrier Identification database today. The Commission further directed CISC to investigate alternative arrangements for routing of 800/888 traffic.

NPTF003G.DOC - 22016 bytes - In Decision 97-8, the Commission directed CLECs to transit all 800/888 calls originating in their serving areas through the ILEC for determination of the appropriate 800/888 service provider, until alternative arrangements are in place, since only the ILEC has access to the Carrier Identification database today. The Commission further directed CISC to investigate alternative arrangements for routing of 800/888 traffic.

NPTF004A.DOC - 34304 bytes - The task is to develop Network Architecture Data Info (LEC to LEC, LEC to IXC) to be exchanged between Carriers to support Local Interconnection. This information is required as input to the NPSWG Architecture Document.

NPTF004D.DOC - 29696 bytes - The task is to develop Network Architecture Data Info (LEC to LEC, LEC to IXC, WSP to LEC) to be exchanged between Carriers to support Local Interconnection. This information is required as input to the NPSWG Architecture Document.

NPTF004K.DOC - 34KB - Network planning Feb 16-17 meeting. The task is to develop Network Architecture Data Info (LEC to LEC, LEC to IXC, WSP to LEC) to be exchanged between Carriers to support Local Interconnection. This information is required as input to the NPSWG Architecture Document.

NPTF005.DOC - 19456 bytes - As a result of the Commission Decision 97-8, the NPSWG Forecast Information Exchange Document will need to be revised. This task activity involves the reviewing and updating of the NPSWG Forecasting Information Exchange Document.

NPTF005A.DOC - 19456 bytes - This task activity involves the reviewing and updating of the NPSWG Forecasting Information Exchange Document.

NPTF5-11.DOC - 30KB - Network planning Feb 16-17 meeting - As a result of the Commission Decision 97-8, the NPSWG Forecast Information Exchange Document will need to be revised. This task activity involves the reviewing and updating of the NPSWG Forecasting Information Exchange Document.

NPTF006.DOC - 31232 bytes - The NPSWG needs to define the data exchange requirements for the exchange of forecasting and network architecture data. This should include the frequency, content and format for the data so that ultimately the media for the exchange can be selected.

NPTF007.DOC - 12800 bytes - As a result of the Commission Decision 97-8, the NPSWG Forecast Information Exchange Document requires revision. This task activity involves the updating, editing and publishing of the revised document, incorporating the changes proposed by the Network Planning Sub-Working Group (NPSWG) to reflect the Commission's decisions.

NPTF008.DOC - 12800 bytes - Task #8 involves the development of Network Architecture Data information (LEC to LEC, LEC to IXC), to be exchanged between carriers to support Local Interconnection. This task activity involves the assembly, editing and publishing of the document that incorporates these recommendations.

NPTF009.DOC - 19456 bytes - The Commission, in its PN97-15 decision, directs the Stentor-owner companies, including Telus Communications Inc., to offer physical co-location in their central offices. The purpose of this task is to establish the guidelines for co-location, including terms and conditions, and to develop a list of equipment suitable for co-location.

NPTF009D.DOC - 72192 bytes - The Commission, in its PN97-15 decision, directs the Stentor-owner companies, including Telus Communications Inc., to offer physical and virtual co-location in their central offices. The purpose of this task is to establish the guidelines for co-location, including terms and conditions, and to develop a list of equipment suitable for co-location.

NPTFSUMM.DOC - 67584 bytes - Following are the minutes of the Network Planning Sub-Working Group meeting. If you were unable to attend, however, and plan to participate in the future, please contact, Sharon Ledwell, Metronet (see attendees list at the bottom for details) to be added to the members list.
