Appendix 6 - Preparation of a TIF Report
A report is prepared by the TIF Sponsor once a task is completed as agreed to by the WG. Once the report is reviewed by the WG, it is then submitted to the SC.
The Report should generally be a summary of the information contained in the TIF(s) presented in a manner that will allow the reader to understand the task, the factors impacting on the resolution and the identification and analysis of potential outcomes.

Description |
Provide background information on the task. Identify and describe factors which were examined in the analysis which had a bearing on the conclusions and recommendations. Also explain the importance of each factor considered. Identify and describe the alternatives analyzed. Analysis of the alternatives vis-à-vis each of the factors identified. |

Conclusions regarding the practicability/suitability/viability of each alternative |
Recommendations |
Which alternative is the best?/How to proceed? |
Attachments |
References associated with the Report must be attached. Other relevant documents (Guidelines, Procedures, Standard Agreements and other documents) may be attached. |
