National Do Not Call List
- Definition
- A list, established pursuant to the Telecommunications Act, on which Canadians who want to reduce the number of telemarketing telecommunications they receive may register their residential, wireless, fax, or VoIP telecommunications number(s). Canadian telemarketers (with certain exceptions) must subscribe to the National DNCL and refrain from initiating telemarketing telecommunications to the numbers registered on the list.
