syndication
- Definition
- Web syndication is a form of syndication in which a section of a website is made available for other sites to use. This originated with news and blog sites but is increasingly used to syndicate any information. Similar to newspaper syndication, Web syndication delivers a regularly updated feature from one website to any site that is interested in receiving that same feature when it is published. The two formats of Web syndication used are RSS and Atom. (Source: Termium)
