- Definition
- Correspondence in the form of messages transmitted between user terminals over a computer network. Documents or other content may be attached to e-mail messages and also sent to other users. - Webster's Dictionary capitalizes the noun form of E-mail but uses the lowercase e-mail when using the word as a verb. The AP (Associated Press) style is to use the lowercase e-mail for all instances.
