Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1996-5 dated 10 May 1996 relating to its public hearing commencing on 9 July 1996, at the Radisson Hôtel des Gouverneurs, 690 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Quebec City, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:
THE FOLLOWING ITEM IS AMENDED AND THE CHANGE IS UNDERLINED

SHAWINIGAN/TROIS-RIVIÈRES, Quebec
Application (952710200) by 9016-7974 QUÉBEC INC., 697 Thibeau Street, Cap-de-la-Madeleine, Quebec, G8T 7A2, for a broadcasting licence to carry on a French-language FM (radio) programming undertaking at Shawinigan/ Trois-Rivières, operating on a frequency of 96.5 MHz (channel 243B) with an effective radiated power of 19,000 watts.
The applicant proposes to broadcast a minimum of 126 hours of local programming per broadcast week.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable.
