The Commission will hold a public hearing commencing on 9 July 1996, at the Radisson Hôtel des Gouverneurs, 690 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Quebec City, Quebec, to consider the following:

33.  VERDUN, Quebec
Pursuant to Section 12 of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission calls the following parties, namely:
 Nun's Island Real Estate Company, G.P./
  Société Foncière de l'Île des Soeurs, S.E.N.C.
 3093581 Canada Inc.
 9013-3646 Quebec Inc.
 Metropolitan Structures of Canada Limited/
  Les Structures Métropolitaines du Canada Limitée
 Coopérative Câble Île des Soeurs
to a public hearing to be held in the Quebec City, Quebec, starting on Tuesday, the 9th day of July 1996 at 9:00 A.M., to inquire into, hear and determine whether a mandatory order should be issued requiring the parties noted above, or any of them, to cease and desist operating a broadcasting undertaking, either alone or together with others, on Nun's Island (Île des Soeurs), Verdun, Quebec, or anywhere else in Canada, except in compliance with the Broadcasting Act. The Commission notes that the parties have previously been notified of their call to this hearing, by way of a letter dated 31 May 1996.

IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE COMMISSION AND PLACED ON THE PUBLIC FILE,,
-  your submission must clearly indicate your position, bear your (legible) signature and indicate if you wish to appear at the public hearing; it would be helpful to the Commission if you would provide reasons why your written comments are not sufficient and an appearance is necessary;
-  the Commission reserves the rights to accept, reject and/or group any request it receives for an oral presentation;
-  all submissions must be received by the CRTC ON OR BEFORE the deadline date indicated below. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays;
