QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC
Further to its Notice of Public Hearing CRTC 1996-5 dated 10 May 1996 relating to its public hearing commencing on 9 July 1996, at the Radisson Hôtel des Gouverneurs, 690 René-Lévesque Boulevard East, Quebec City, Quebec, the Commission announces the following:
THE FOLLOWING ITEM IS AMENDED AND THE CHANGE IS UNDERLINED
Issue No. 1 - Item 3
DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec
Applications (199606571, 199606589) by 3224503 CANADA INC., 410 St-Nicolas Street, Suite 12, Montréal, Quebec, H2Y 2P5:
a)  for authority to acquire the assets and for a broadcasting licence to continue the operation of the (radio) program-ming undertaking CHRD Drummondville, upon surrender of the current licence issued to Communications Robert Lauzon inc., under the same terms and conditions as the current licence; and
b)  for a broadcasting licence to carry on a French-language FM (radio) programming undertaking at Drummondville, on a frequency of 105.3 MHz (channel 287A) with an effective radiated power of 3,000 watts, upon surrender of the licence to be issued to CHRD Drummondville, if the Commission approves application (199606571) by 3224503 Canada Inc. to acquire the assets of CHRD Drummondville.
The Commission will only proceed with this application at the public hearing if advised by the Department of Industry, at least ten days prior to the hearing, that it is technically acceptable.
