We are seeking your comments on a temporary fund to be administered by the Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) that would support local news production by commercial radio stations outside of Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, and Ottawa-Gatineau. This consultation comes after the decision on base contributions, issued on June 4, 2024, and the recognition of the immediate need for funding to help provide timely relief to commercial radio stations. Share your thoughts on the CAB’s plan to administer the fund.
