4.
The Commission notes that the above-noted transmitter is currently operated by the CBC as a radiocommunication distribution undertaking (RDU), which rebroadcasts the programming of CKBI-TV Prince Albert. In CBKST Saskatoon - new transmitters, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2002-302, 10 October 2002, the Commission approved the application by the CBC to acquire CKBI-TV Prince Albert from CTV Television Inc. and the addition of the station to CBKST's licence.
5.
The CBC noted that it is therefore no longer necessary to hold a separate RDU licence for the above-mentioned transmitter, and has asked that the licence be revoked.
6.
Accordingly, the Commission, pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24 (2) of the Broadcasting Act, revokes the broadcasting licence issued to the CBC with respect to the above-noted RDU.
