The Commission has received the following applications:
1. NEW GLASGOW, Nova Scotia
Application (882364300) by SHAW CABLESYSTEMS LIMITED, 7605 - 50th Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T6B 2W9, for approval to transfer the effective control (100%) of K-Vision Services Limited, currently held as follows: 1,000 shares (33.3%) by Beaver Lumber Company Limited, 1,000 shares (33.3%) by MacLean Investments Limited and 1,000 shares (33.3%) by Russell Investments Limited. These holdings are, in turn, controlled by Messrs. Peter Maclean, Elmer MacKay, R. Russell and R. Glube, respectively. Mr. James Shaw and his family effectively control Shaw Cablesystems Limited, a public company.

As a result of this transaction, Rural STV 1 Limited will be effectively controlled by Carmen Davidson.

and by adding the following condition:
 "It is a condition of licence that the authorization granted in Decision CRTC 87-237 be implemented no later than 30 March 1989."
