Description: The Canadian Association of Internet Providers (CAIP) is in receipt of Part VII Applications from MTS Allstream Inc. and TekSavvy Solutions Inc. (“TSI”) seeking to have certain portions of Telecom Order CRTC 2009-484 rescinded as well as a “Stay Application” by TSI seeking to stay the interim approvals granted in paragraphs 18 and 21 of the same Order until such time as the Commission is able to render a decision on TSI’s R&V Application.

For the reasons that follow ACI fully supports these applications and urges the Commission to immediately stay and rescind the interim approvals granted in the UBB Order to the  Gateway Access Service (GAS) usage based billing (UBB) and excessive usage charges proposed by Bell Aliant Regional Communications, Limited Partnership and Bell Canada (collectively Bell Companies).

Primus is also in receipt of a Part VII application filed by MTS Allstream Inc., dated 18 September 2009, requesting that the Commission review and rescind portions of Order 2009-484.
