Description: On April 4, 2007 , the Minister of Industry announced Order in Council P.C. 2007-0533, Order Requiring the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission to Report to the Governor in Council on Consumer Complaints. The Order in Council calls upon the Canadian telecommunications services industry to establish and fund an independent agency with a mandate to resolve complaints from individual and small business retail customers.
