Description: As noted in our response to Question 2, our investigation of this incident identified a network connectivity issue between our Whitehorse master unit and our relay device in Yellowknife, which prevented Emergency Alerting System (EAS) messages from properly transiting our network. Our network staff have worked on a priority basis to re-establish this link and will soon initiate a rigorous testing process with Pelmorex to confirm that the link is functioning properly and capable of successfully delivering visible test alerts.
