Opening of Hearing at 11:00 a.m.

Bonjour mesdames et messieurs et bienvenue à cette audience du Conseil. Mon nom est Caroline Simard, je suis Vice-présidente, Radiodiffusion et je présiderai cette audience. Les autres membres du Comité d’audition sont mes collègues Christopher MacDonald, conseiller pour la région de l’Atlantique et du Nunavut, et Linda Vennard, conseillère pour la province de l’Alberta et des Territoires du Nord-Ouest. Madame Cindy Ventura sera la secrétaire de cette audience et Madame Shari Fisher, conseillère juridique. Madame la Secrétaire, quels sont les articles à l'ordre du jour aujourd'hui? .

On 25 October 2017, the Commission published Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2017-381. On 20 December 2017, the Commission published an amended Notice, 2017-381-1, withdrawing two items from consideration at this hearing. The applications referenced in 2017-381, with the exception of the applications withdrawn in 2017-381-1, are being considered today without the appearance of the parties.
The Commission has received interventions for some of the applications and they have been placed on the public file for this hearing.
