Opening of Hearing at 11:00 a.m.
Chairman: Order please, à l'ordre s'il vous plaît.
Good morning ladies and gentlemen and welcome to this hearing of the Commission. My name is Marc Patrone, National Commissioner, and I will chair this meeting. With me on the panel are my colleagues, Elizabeth A. Duncan, Commissioner, Atlantic Region and Nunavut and Candice J. Molnar, Commissioner, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Jade Roy will be the Secretary of this hearing and Bernard Montigny will be our Legal Counsel. Madam Secretary, what are the items on the agenda for today?
Secretary: Thank you Mr. Chairman
On 13 December 2010, the Commission published Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2010-935. The Commission also published 2010-935-1 on 20 January 2011. The applications referenced in these notices are being considered today without the appearance of the parties.
The Commission has received interventions for some of the applications and they have been placed on the public file for this hearing.

Chairman: I should emphasize that the matters that form part of the agenda will be given full consideration by the hearing panel and decisions will be released in due course after consultation with the full Commission.
