Providing Content in Canada's Official Languages
Please note that the Official Languages Act requires that government publications be available in both official languages.
In order to meet some of the requirements under this Act, the Commission's transcripts will therefore be bilingual as to their covers, the listing of CRTC members and staff attending the hearings, and the table of contents.
However, the aforementioned publication is the recorded verbatim transcript and, as such, is transcribed in either of the official languages, depending on the language spoken by the participant at the hearing.

480 THE CHAIRPERSON: Good afternoon.
481 Last time we met I said I expect you to be back here with an offer. I gather my expectations go unfulfilled. There is no offer on the table that is acceptable to both sides?
482 Is that correct?
483 MR. DUNBAR: That is correct, sir
484 THE CHAIRPERSON: Okay.
485 Second, I received a letter from Public Works asking some clarification and I received a letter from Bell opposing both the request for clarification and the request for adjournment or extension of time that Public Works...
486 Let's deal with the clarification first. On that we have to go in camera because we have to talk numbers. I want to make sure we all are...
487 Is there anybody on line, Madam, or can we cut off the thing so we are in camera.
488 Is there anybody in the room who is not CRTC, Public Works or Bell ?
489 Rita, you are still online?490 COMMISSIONER CUGINI: Yes, I am.
491 THE CHAIRPERSON: My colleague, Rita, is holding a hearing in Orillia and therefore she is participating by way of telephone.
--- Upon recessing at 1618 to resume in camera
immediately / Suspension à 1614 pour reprendre
immédiatement à huis clos
--- Upon resuming at 1616 / Reprise à 1616
492 THE CHAIRPERSON: Rita, are you still there?
493 COMMISSIONER CUGINI: Yes, I am.
494 THE CHAIRPERSON: Yes, okay.
495 So I gather we are back on the public record so the people can listen, too.
496 The request by Public Works for clarification of the bookends, that has been given and both parties fully agree that they now understand what the bookends are within which a deal should be cut.
497 The request by Public Works for an extension by two days has been granted in light of the budget preoccupation of the department. They were unable to get decision-makers to focus on this issue.498 Hopefully they will now be able to focus on it and we expect firmly that by 4 o'clock Thursday the parties will be here and announce that a settlement has been reached.
499 Thank you very much. We stand adjourned until 4 o'clock Thursday.
500 Thank you.
