Registration for Exempt Low-Power Tourist Information Undertakings - Form 151

General Information

This form is to register a radio undertaking as an exempt low-power tourist information related radio programming undertaking. The undertaking is also required to provide updates of any subsequent change of information within 30 days. Updates are to be filed electronically via My CRTC Account by attaching to the Broadcasting cover page a letter explaining changes of information.

Please indicate if this form involves:

Before completing this form, registrants should consult the terms and conditions applicable to exempt low-power tourist information undertakings set out in:

Once the registration of the radio programming undertaking is processed, information pertaining to the undertaking will be added to the list entitled Radio, TV and Cable Broadcasting Services that do and do not need a licence (the List) available on the Commission’s website.

File electronically via My CRTC Account by attaching the registration form to the Broadcasting cover page. My CRTC Account allows you to securely submit documents to the Commission with a user ID and password. Therefore a signature is not required when using My CRTC Account.

Confirm that you will abide by the terms and conditions set out in Broadcasting Regulatory Policy CRTC 2018-137 and Broadcasting Order CRTC 2018-137, including that the undertaking will meet technical and programming-related requirements for exempt tourist information undertaking, that the undertaking has implemented a public alerting system on all of its stations, and that the undertaking will be owned and controlled by Canadians, as defined in the Direction to the CRTC (Ineligibility of non-Canadians), by answering "I agree" below.
