Thank you for your correspondence dated 17 May 2025 regarding The Path Forward - Working towards a sustainable Canadian broadcasting system, Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2025-2, 9 January 2025, in which you request to appear at the public hearing. We appreciate your interest in this public consultation.
Parties who wished to appear at the public hearing needed to signal their interest to do so in their intervention. You submitted your request to appear on 17 May 2025, well after the 24 February 2025 deadline to submit an intervention. As a result, by a majority decision of the Hearing Panel, the Commission will not accommodate your request to make an oral presentation at the hearing.
We encourage you to participate in future proceedings that may be of interest to you. You may consult our regulatory plan, which sets out the consultations and public hearings the CRTC is advancing to modernize Canada's broadcasting framework.
