Subject: Part 1 application 2024-0069-6 – Response to the applicant’s procedural request and new reply deadline
Dear John Carlo Mastrangelo and Kate Southwell:
In a Staff Letter dated 5 April 2024, Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) staff granted an extension of the deadline for interveners to file comments in regard to Application 2024-0069-6 until 22 April 2024. Further, in that letter, CRTC staff stated that the reply period would close on 2 May 2024.
On 30 April 2024, the applicant filed a procedural request, on which Bell was copied, asking for an extension of the reply deadline from 2 to 7 May 2024. The applicant stated that Bell had consented to the requested extension of time and that this extension would also apply to any reply that Bell might wish to submit in response to any of the interveners.
Given that Bell does not object, that the request is for a brief extension of only five days, and that the requested extension would allow for a more fulsome and complete record, CRTC staff grants an extension of the deadline for parties to file replies to 7 May 2024.
