CFOS Owen Sound – Conversion to the FM band – Finalization of conditions of service

In CFOS Owen Sound – Conversion to the FM band, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2024-265, 31 October 2024 (Broadcasting Decision 2024-265), the Commission approved an application by Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation (Bayshore) for a broadcasting licence to operate an English-language commercial FM radio station in Owen Sound, Ontario, to replace its English-language commercial AM radio station CFOS Owen Sound.
In that decision, the Commission proposed to make orders imposing on Bayshore the various conditions of service set out in Appendix 2 to the decision and invited interested persons to make representations only on the proposed orders. The Commission did not receive any representations.
In light of the above, and pursuant to subsection 9.1(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission hereby makes the orders imposing conditions of service on Bayshore Broadcasting Corporation in respect of the new English-language commercial FM radio programming undertaking in Owen Sound, Ontario, as set out in Appendix 2 to Broadcasting Decision 2024-265.
