Subject: Part 1 licence renewal application 2019-1020-9 - Extension to the deadline of the intervention period.
Dear Mr. Yelic:
Section 28(1)(a) of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure (the Rules) provides that we may request parties to file information, particulars or documents where needed, even once an application is published further to the Rules.
On 20 February 2020, you were asked to file additional information related to requirements with respect to closed captioning. On 27 February, you filed your response and this information has now been added to the public record of the above-mentioned application.
In light of introducing new information to the record of this proceeding, the deadline for submitting interventions related to application 2019-1020-9 will be extended by 5 days in order to allow interested parties to comment on said information. Accordingly, the new deadline to submit interventions is 9 March, 2020. You will have 10 days following the date of close of the intervention period to file your reply to any interventions.
The Commission requires that you submit your documents electronically using the secured service “My CRTC Account” (Partner Log In or GCKey) and fill in the “Broadcasting and Telecom Cover page” located on this web page. On this web page, you will also find a link to information on the submission of applications to the Commission “Submitting applications and other documents to the CRTC using My CRTC Account.”
A copy of this letter and all related correspondence will be added to the public record of the proceeding.
Yours sincerely,
Daniel Pye
