Call for comments – Proceeding to establish a mandatory code for Internet services
Online consultation
- In order to facilitate the further engagement of Canadians, the Commission is revising the procedure established in Proceeding to establish a mandatory code for Internet services, Telecom Notice of Consultation CRTC 2018-422, 9 November 2018, to add an online consultation phase.
- As part of this online consultation, the Commission invites Canadians to comment on specific questions related to the proceeding on the CRTC’s Internet Code Facebook Photo Album.
- The online consultation will begin on 21 February 2019 and end on 4 March 2019. All comments submitted must comply with the Commission’s Social Media Rules of Engagement. Canadians requiring an accessible and/or alternative method to read and respond to questions in the online consultation can participate via email as set out on the Commission’s Internet Code web page. Following the online consultation period, transcripts will be available on the Commission’s website at www.crtc.gc.ca. Only text submissions will be included in the final public record; images and attachments will not. Email addresses will not be included in the public record. The comments received during the online consultation will be made part of the record of this proceeding.
