As you may be aware, the Commission published on 6 April 2016 an interactive map of broadband Internet service coverage in Canada. This map was developed in the context of the Commission’s above-noted proceeding to review the telecommunications services that Canadians require to participate meaningfully in the digital economy.
Please be advised that the aggregated data^{Footnote 2} in Geographical Information System (GIS) formats has been added to the public record of this proceeding. Consistent with the interactive map, this data identifies the technologies used to provide broadband Internet access service at or above the Commission’s target speeds within certain defined areas and does not identify individual telecommunications service providers.
The data can be found at the following links:
