Re:  Request for extension for date of filing of Bell Canada’s 2016 Annual Deferral Report for accessibility initiatives

Dear Mr. MacQuarrie:

On 24 March 2016, Bell Canada wrote to the Commission to request an extension from
31 March 2016 to 15 April 2016 for filing of its 2016 Annual Deferral Account Report for accessibility initiatives. Bell Canada cited the unavailability of certain critical resources and the workload associated with a number of other filings that are also due by the end of March.

In the circumstances, Commission staff considers that an extension is appropriate.  Bell Canada’s report is to be filed with the Commission by 15 April 2016

Yours sincerely,
