Re: Procedural Letter: Additional information required by the Commission on Discretionary services (commonly known as exempt Category B and Exempt third-language services)

To whom it may concern:

In Broadcasting Order CRTC 2015-88, Exemption order respecting discretionary television programming undertakings serving fewer than 200,000 subscribers (“Exemption Order”)the Commission required all exempt Category B and exempt third-language services (see list) to file with the Commission a brief, one sentence description of the programming offered by the service and update the information required in paragraph 4(a) of the Exemption Order by 30 April 2015.

You are receiving this letter because you have not met this deadline for one or more of your services.

Please provide a brief, one sentence description of the programming offered by your service(s) for posting on the Commission’s website. You must submit the description by no later than 5 June 2015 by using the secured service “My CRTC Account” (Partner Log In or GCKey) and indicating the following reference - Rapids case 706120.

This additional information is required in order for your service(s) to meet the requirements of the Exemption Order that will be coming into force in the near future. Failure to provide this information may result in your service (s) being removed from the List of Exempt Category B and Exempt Third-Language Services and the loss of your authorization to broadcast your service(s) in Canada.
