A review of the policy framework for local and community television programming

Additional local programming data and new deadline for the submission of comments

1. On 14 September 2015, the Commission placed data related to the costs and revenues associated with local and access programming on the public record of the proceeding initiated by A review of the policy framework for local and community television programming, Broadcasting Notice of Consultation CRTC 2015-421, 14 September 2015.
2. Since then, the Commission corresponded with some licensees and is now able to provide additional data related to the costs and revenues associated with local programming, as well as revise some of the data published on 14 September 2015. The new and revised data have been placed on the public record of the proceeding.  
3. The Commission has also placed on the public record of this proceeding the letters from licensees clarifying the discrepancies with the data provided to the Commission earlier in the proceeding.
4. In light of the above, the deadline to submit comments for this proceeding has been extended to 5 November 2015.
