CIOR Princeton – Revocation of licence

  1. Bell Media Inc. on behalf of Astral Media Radio (Toronto) Inc. and 4382072 Canada Inc., partners in a general partnership carrying on business as Astral Media Radio G.P. (Bell Media Inc.) has requested the revocation of its broadcasting licence for the English-language commercial AM radio programming undertaking CIOR Princeton, British Columbia.
  2. In Conversion of CIOR Princeton into a rebroadcasting transmitter of CJOR Osoyoos, Broadcasting Decision CRTC 2014-182, 17 April 2014, the Commission approved an application by Bell Media Inc. to convert CIOR Princeton into a rebroadcasting transmitter of CJOR Osoyoos, British Columbia.
  3. Given the licensee’s request and pursuant to sections 9(1)(e) and 24(1) of the Broadcasting Act, the Commission revokes the broadcasting licence issued to Bell Media Inc. on behalf of Astral Media Radio (Toronto) Inc. and 4382072 Canada Inc., partners in a general partnership carrying on business as Astral Media Radio G.P. for the above‑mentioned undertaking.
