Re: Accessibility of Telecommunications and Broadcasting Services, Regulatory Policy CRTC 2009-430

Dear Mr. Woodhead:

On 26 July 2012 TELUS Communications Company (Telus) filed responses to interrogatories posed by Commission staff in a letter dated 25 May 2012 pertaining to the use, cost and rates of IP Relay and TTY Relay. While Telus has provided responses to the interrogatories, further clarification is required:

  1. In Telus’ response to question 5 (TELUS(CRTC)25May12-5), a table was provided representing estimates of certain costs incurred to provide MRS to its retail market only. Revenues submitted in response to question 4 (TELUS(CRTC)25May12-4) reflect two separate wholesale rates “Note 2” and “Note 3”. Indicate whether the table provided in question 5 includes any expenditure associated with either of these wholesale service agreements.

Responses to these questions should be submitted no later than 7 September 2012. Please contact Kay Saicheua (kay.saicheua@crtc.gc.ca) at (819) 934-1358 should you have any questions in regard to this letter.

Yours sincerely,
