Re: Utilities Consumers’ Group (UCG) application for costs in Telecom Notice of Consultation 2011-302
I am writing to acknowledge receipt and respond to your letter addressed to Mr. John Traversy, Secretary General, dated 15 February 2012.
I would like to assure you that each application for costs is considered on its merits in the shortest of delays. However, because costs applications present varying degrees of complexity, each is processed within an individualized time frame.
In order to complete the processing of UCG’s application for costs, the following information is required:
- Supporting evidence that you (Roger Rondeau) provide services to UCG as an outside consultant: In four prior instances in which UCG has been awarded costs by the Commission (ie., Telecom Cost Order CRTC 2006-13, Telecom Costs Order CRTC 2005-8, Taxation Order CRTC 2001-1, Telecom Costs Order CRTC 99-13), costs were awarded for your services as an in-house consultant. In the current application, UCG has requested costs for your services as an outside consultant. Please provide evidence to clarify your relationship with UCG.
Please file this information with the Commission within 5 business days, serving a copy on all potential costs respondents.
