Dear Mr. Lewis and Mr. Abramson:
Re: Atria Networks LP - Application to access the multi-dwelling unit at
160 Elgin Street, Ottawa, ON
On 13 May 2010, Atria Networks LP (Atria) filed a Part VII application with the Commission, pursuant to the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure, requesting access to the multi-dwelling unit (MDU) at 160 Elgin Street, Ottawa, ON (the MDU) owned by 160 Elgin Portfolio Inc. and managed by H&R Property Management Ltd (the Respondents).
In its application, Atria submitted that an expedited filing schedule was necessary in order to implement service to a customer within the MDU. Accordingly, Atria requested that the Commission, pursuant to the CRTC Telecommunications Rules of Procedure, abridge the time period to provide the Respondents with five (5) days or three (3) business days (whichever is shorter) in which to respond to the request for an interim order, and Atria
three (3) days or one (1) business day (whichever is shorter) in which to reply.
On 19 May 2010, McCarthy Tétrault, counsel to the Respondents, requested an extension for their response to 21 May 2010.
In the circumstances, the requested two day extension for the filing of the Respondents’ above-noted response is considered reasonable.
Accordingly, the Respondents are required to file their response on 21 May 2010, and Atria is required to file its reply on 26 May 2010.
Documents to be filed and served in accordance with the above process are to be received, not merely sent, by the date indicated. Copies of the documents should also be sent to the following email address: kevin.pickell@crtc.gc.ca.
Yours sincerely,
