Correction to item 2 and amendment to item 3
Further to Broadcasting Notice of Consultation 2010-464, the Commission announces the following:
The following items are corrected/amended and the changes are in bold:
Item 2
Brantford, Ontario
Application No. 2010-0602-3
Application by 1486781 Ontario Limited (1486781 Ontario) for authority to effect a change to its effective control through the transfer of all of its issued and outstanding shares from its sole shareholder, Anthony Schleifer, to Durham Radio Inc. (Durham Radio), pursuant to subsection 11(4) of the Radio Regulations, 1986.
The proposed transaction is conditional to a favourable decision relating to the proposed changes to CFWC-FM Brantford’s conditions of licence, set out in application 2010-0618-0, which is included in this notice of consultation.
1486781 Ontario is the licensee of the English-language specialty FM radio programming undertaking CFWC-FM.
Durham Radio is controlled by Douglas Kirk, who owns approximately 82% of the voting interests in Durham Radio.
Following this transaction, Durham Radio would become the sole owner of 1486781 Ontario. As a result, Douglas Kirk would exercise control of 1486781 Ontario.
The purchase price for the acquired shares, which is set out in the Share Purchase Agreement, is $265,000.
The applicant does not propose any tangible benefits on the basis that the station has been unprofitable for the past several years.

Brantford, Ontario
Application No. 2010-0618-0
Application by 1486781 Ontario Limited to amend the broadcasting licence for the English-language specialty FM radio programming undertaking CFWC-FM Brantford.
The licensee proposes to delete the following conditions of licence:
A minimum of 95% of all musical selections broadcast during each broadcast week shall be devoted to selections drawn from subcategory 35 (Non-classic religious).
The licensee shall ensure that a minimum of 15% of musical selections from category 3 (Special interest music) broadcast during each broadcast week are Canadian selections.
The licensee shall broadcast, in any broadcast week, no more than 20% hit material as defined in Revised Policy on the Use of Hits by English-Language FM Radio Stations, Public Notice CRTC 1997-42, 23 April 1997.
The licensee proposes to replace the station’s Christian music format with a broad-based rock format.
This application is non-severable to application 2010-0602-3, which is included in this notice of consultation.
Further, in addition to the basic required annual Canadian content development (CCD) contributions, the applicant has also committed to contribute $20,000 ($4,000 per year for the first 5 years following the change in effective control) to locally-directed CCD projects, should both of these applications be approved.
