  Application by Northern Native Broadcasting (Terrace, B.C.) (NNB) to amend the broadcasting licence for the English- and Aboriginal-language Native Type B radio programming undertaking CFNR-FM Terrace.
  The licensee proposes to add an FM transmitter at Seely Mountain to broadcast the programming of CFNR-FM in order to adequately serve the population of Hazelton, British Columbia and surrounding areas.
  The transmitter would operate on frequency 98.1 MHz (channel 251LP) with an average effective radiated power (ERP) of 18.6 watts (maximum ERP of 26.3 watts with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of 24.1 metres).
  The licensee states that the addition of this transmitter will replace its existing facilities currently in operation at Hazelton.
  The licensee also states that it was under the mistaken impression that the existing facilities at Hazelton were exempt from licensing in light of the Exemption Order respecting certain native radio undertakings, Public Notice CRTC 1998-62, 9 July 1998.
  NNB also filed another application (see item 2 of this notice) to amend the broadcasting licence for CFNR-FM in order to add a number of other transmitters for the same above reason.

  The licensee proposes to add several rebroadcasting transmitters to its licence. These rebroadcasting transmitters, located throughout northern British Columbia, are all currently in operation.
  The transmitter at Aiyansh would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an effective radiated power (ERP) of 6.4 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of -64.6 metres).
  The transmitter at Alkali Lake would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an average ERP of 27.9 watts (maximum ERP of 39 watts with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of -110 metres).
  The transmitter at Anahim Lake would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an average ERP of 7.3 watts (maximum ERP of 11.3 watts with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of -14 metres).
  The transmitter at Bella Coola would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an ERP of 6.4 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of -170 metres).
  The transmitter at Canyon City would operate on frequency 98.1 MHz (channel 251LP) with an average ERP of 5 watts (maximum ERP of 10 watts with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of 14 metres).
  The transmitter at Dog Creek would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an ERP of 8 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of 14 metres).

  The transmitter at Masset would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an ERP of 6.4 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of 23.2 metres).
  The transmitter at McLeod Lake would operate on frequency 96.1 MHz (channel 241LP) with an ERP of 6.4 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of the antenna above average terrain of -27.7 metres).

  The intervention must be received by the Commission and by the applicant on or before the above-mentioned date. The Commission cannot be held responsible for postal delays and will not notify a party whose intervention is received after the deadline date. The intervention will not be considered by the Commission and will not be part of the public file.
  Interventions will be considered by the Commission and will form part of the public record of the proceeding without further notification to intervening parties, provided the procedure set out below has been followed. Parties will be contacted only if their submissions raise procedural questions.
  Written interventions should be submitted to the Secretary General of the Commission in only one of the following formats:

  A true copy must be sent to the applicant, and proof that this has been done must accompany the intervention sent to the Commission.
  The Commission advises those who file and serve by electronic mode to exercise caution when using e-mail for service of documents or notification, as it may be difficult to establish that service has occurred.
  Parties must ensure, before initiating service through electronic mode, that they will be able to satisfy the Commission, upon request, that service of the notification was completed.
  Where the intervention is filed by electronic means, the line ***End of document*** should be entered following the last paragraph of the document, as an indication that the document has not been damaged during electronic transmission.
  Each paragraph of the document should be numbered.
  Interventions should clearly identify the application referred to and indicate whether parties support or oppose the application, or, if they propose changes to it, include the facts and grounds for their proposal.
