Further to its Broadcasting Notices of Public Hearing CRTC 2008-2 dated 28 March 2008 and CRTC 2008-2-1 dated 2 April 2008, the Commission announces the following: |

Application by Russ Wagg, on behalf of a corporation to be incorporated, for a licence to operate a low-power English-language FM commercial radio programming undertaking in Quadra Island. |

The applicant has advised the Commission that the Department of Industry could not certify the proposed frequency. Accordingly, the applicant has submitted a revised application for a broadcasting certificate to the Department of Industry, requesting the use of another frequency. |
|
The new station would operate on frequency 92.1 MHz (channel 221) with an effective radiated power of 50 watts (non-directional antenna/antenna height of 20 metres). |
|
The Commission notes that the revised application for a broadcasting certificate, as submitted by the applicant to the Department of Industry, has been added to the public file. |
