CJCE-FM Godfrey - Licence renewal |
1. |
The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English-language, low-power FM radio programming undertaking CJCE-FM Godfrey, from 1 January 20091 to 31 August 2015. |
2. |
The licensee operates the station during the months of July and August only and broadcasts four to five hours of musical programming and 15 minutes of religious programming per day. The schedule does not include commercial advertising. |
3. |
The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application. |
4. |
Given that CJCE-FM Godfrey is a low-power unprotected FM service, the Commission reminds the licensee that it will have to select another frequency if the Department of Industry so requires. |
5. |
In accordance with Implementation of an employment equity policy, Public Notice CRTC 1992-59, 1 September 1992, the Commission encourages the licensee to consider employment equity issues in its hiring practices and in all other aspects of its management of human resources. |
