Subject: Reconsideration of Decision CRTC 2007-246, pursuant to Order-in-Council P.C. 2007-1604
Pursuant to the Order-in-Council mentioned in the subject, the Commission will reconsider the decision to amend the licence to operate a French-language Category 2 specialty television service known as Avis de Recherche, and re-examine the conditions of licence imposed on Avis de Recherche Inc. in terms of its qualification as a service of exceptional importance giving it the right to be distributed on the digital basic service, as described in Decision CRTC 2007-246.
The Commission will reconsider the decision within a new public process as soon as possible. We will notify you of the dates of this public process as soon as they become available.
You may, until 8 November 2007, amend or clarify your submitted application, in the light of the opinion of the Governor in Council stated in Order-in-Council P.C. 2007-1604.
A copy of this letter and of your response will be added to the public record, and will be available for public inspection.
