TELUS Communications Company - Application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services

  Reference: 8640-T66-200709074

Erratum

1.

The Commission is issuing corrections to TELUS Communications Company - Application for forbearance from the regulation of business local exchange services, Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-92, 27 September 2007, as amended by Telecom Decision CRTC 2007-92-1, 3 October 2007 (Telecom Decision 2007-92).

2.

The Commission notes that in that Decision, General Tariff item 521, 900 Service, was incorrectly approved as a service eligible for forbearance from regulation. The Commission also notes that this service is not a local exchange service and, therefore, does not fall within the definition of local exchange services as set out in Telecom Public Notice 2005-2.

3.

As a result, paragraph 10 of Telecom Decision 2007-92 should read as follows:

The Commission notes that seven services in Alberta and British Columbia and three in Quebec were not included in the list of eligible local exchange services in Telecom Decision 2005-35. The Commission considers that six of these services in Alberta and British Columbia and the three in Quebec fall within the definition of local exchange services as set out in Telecom Public Notice 2005-2. However, the remaining service, General Tariff item 521, 900 Service, is not a local exchange service and therefore is not eligible for forbearance.

4.

The Commission is issuing a revised version of Appendix 3 to Telecom Decision 2007-92.
