Dear Mr. Beauregard:

Re: Tariff Notices 1 and 2

On 12 June 2006 , the Commission received from Téléphone Drummond Inc. (Téléphone Drummond) two applications under cover of Tariff Notices 1 and 2, requesting Commission approval for inclusion in its General Tariff the rates found in the Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) Model Tariff Version 24.

Commission staff notes that Tariff Notice 1 is not necessary, since the company's tariff index is not part of the CLEC tariff model.

Commission staff further notes that, in Tariff Notice 2, the company should have used CLEC Tariff Model Version 25, which is posted on the Commission's Web site at http://www.crtc.gc.ca/cisc/eng/cisf3g5.htm .

Commission staff also notes that the company must use the abbreviation "FSI" in French (IXC in English), not "ESI" ("IXSP" in English), to designate an interexchange carrier.

Finally, the Commission notes that a separate General Tariff letter must accompany any tariff filing submitted to the Commission.   Commission staff wishes to point out that the CLEC Tariff Model pages are not to be modified, except in the places intended for that purpose.   Thus, to avoid any confusion, the company must:

  1. indicate its corporate name in the spaces provided;

  2. indicate its General Tariff number in the spaces provided; and

  3. keep only those rates that apply to its serving territory.

Consequently, these files are now closed.

However, the Commission is open to examining a new application if the company addresses the above-mentioned problems.   The application must be filed under cover of a new tariff notice.   Before filing a new application with the Commission, please contact Joëlle Bernier at (819) 994-0551 or Michel Murray at (819) 997-9300.

Yours sincerely,
