Distribution of CFMT-TV (OMNI.1) Toronto on a digital discretionary basis

1. The Commission approves the application by Videotron Ltd. (Videotron) to distribute on a digital discretionary basis, the programming service of distant Canadian station CFMT-TV (OMNI.1) Toronto, Ontario, on its cable broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) serving the above-mentioned localities.
2. The licensee indicated that the purpose of the application is to ensure competitive equity with the national direct-to-home satellite BDUs, Bell ExpressVu and Star Choice, as well as with the multipoint distribution system BDU LOOK TV.
3. The Commission did not receive any interventions in connection with this application.
