The Commission approves the application by CF Cable TV Inc. to distribute, on a discretionary digital basis, the programming service of the distant Canadian station CKXT-TV (Sun TV) Toronto, on its Class 1 cable broadcasting distribution undertakings (BDUs) serving Montréal, Sorel, Gatineau (Hull), Gatineau (Buckingham), Rivière-du-Loup, La Pocatière and Granby, Quebec; its class 2 cable BDUs serving Lachute, Coaticook, Lennoxville, Cowansville and Ascot Corner (Fleurimont), Quebec, and Rockland, Ontario; and its class 3 cable BDUs serving Thurso (Papineauville), Saint-Joachim (Côte de Beaupré), Sainte-Pétronille (Île d'Orléans), East Angus and Waterloo, Quebec.

The licensee indicated that the purpose of the application is to ensure competitive equity among its cable BDUs and the national direct-to-home satellite BDUs Bell ExpressVu and Star Choice.
