CFJW-FM Chapleau - Licence renewal

1.

The Commission renews the broadcasting licence for the English- and French-language low-power FM radio programming undertaking CFJW-FM Chapleau, from 1 September 2006 to 31 August 2013.

The Commission received an intervention in support of this application.

3.

The licence will be subject to the conditions set out in A licensing policy for low-power radio broadcasting, Public Notice CRTC 1993-95, 28 June 1993, as well as to the following conditions:
 
  • The licensee shall use the station solely to broadcast emergency messages, to test the system one hour each month and to broadcast an annual emergency exercise, which could last up to four hours.
 
  • The licensee shall not broadcast advertising material.
 
  • The licensee shall not broadcast musical selections.
