Central Office License Agreement

1.

The Commission received an application by MTS Allstream Inc. (MTS Allstream), dated 1 October 2004, to revise its Central Office License Agreement associated with Supplementary Tariff Special Assemblies item 17550, Customer-Provided Equipment Co-Located in Fort Rouge Central Office.

MTS Allstream stated that the modifications to article 8.1 of the agreement would reduce insurance liability requirements that are applicable to the customer. The company also filed revisions of housekeeping nature to reflect the company name change to MTS Allstream Inc. and to reference the tariff with the correct number.

On 6 December 2004, MTS Allstream amended its Central Office License Agreement to incorporate Commission requirements regarding confidentiality provision and associated customer consent as stipulated in Confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33-1, 11 July 2003, and regarding information required in business customer contracts as stipulated in Measures with respect to incumbent telephone company regulatory compliance, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2003-4, 10 April 2003.

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application.

The Commission approves MTS Allstream's application.
