Pursuant to the procedure set out in Framework for forbearance from regulation of high-speed intra-exchange digital services , Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2005-8, 30 June 2005 (PN 2005-8), as amended by Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2005-8-1, 22 July 2005, Commission staff addressed interrogatories to various companies on 14 October 2005. Commission staff is of the view that further clarification is required for the following interrogatories:
Aliant(CRTC)14October05-1308 For the above noted interrogatories, HSDS Service refers to high-speed access services provided by your company at DS-3, OC-3 and OC-12 speeds. These would be services equivalent to Bell Canada 's digital network access (DNA) services offered under Item 301 of Bell Canada 's National Services Tariff.
Aliant(CRTC)14October05-1309 For the above noted interrogatories, HSM service refers to managed wavelength service equivalent to Bell Canada 's High Speed Metro service offered under Item 5030 of Bell Canada 's General Tariff. Yours sincerely,
