Maintenance of customer-provided equipment and agreement |

The Commission received an application by TELUS Communications Inc. (TCI), dated 5 October 2004, to revise Special Facilities Tariff items 301 and 306 to 311, reflecting the migration of the existing non-mandated co-location special facilities services to the newly approved General Tariff item 405 Business Co-location offering. |

With respect to Special Facilities Tariff item 301, Maintenance of Customer-Provided Equipment - Specific Customer Only, TCI stated that the service consists of a non-mandated co-location arrangement and a separate Operations, Administration and Maintenance (OA&M) Agreement. The company proposed to migrate the non-mandated co-location portion to the new General Tariff item 405 and continue the OA&M arrangement portion under the item 301 at existing approved conditions, rates and charges. |

TCI also filed for approval an amendment to the OA&M Agreement which incorporated Commission requirements stipulated in Confidentiality provisions of Canadian carriers, Telecom Decision CRTC 2003-33-1, 11 July 2003 regarding confidentiality provision and associated customer consent, and Measures with respect to incumbent telephone company regulatory compliance, Telecom Public Notice CRTC 2003-4, 10 April 2003, regarding information required in business customer contracts. |

The Commission received no comments with respect to the application. |

The Commission approves TCI's application. The revisions take effect as of 28 November 2004. |
